Church

In response to Stephanie's comment... The pictures are in a hidden file amongst Nathan's digital closet. I call him a digital pack-rat! He promises he'll have them for me soon... but we know how that goes. Sorry.

We went to church with our friends Dian and Terry (the family that lived in this house before us who had a house fire a year ago.) We loved it! It was just the right size. I liked the pastor and what he has to say, and everyone was very, genuinely kind. Today was a Christmas-ey service followed by the children's Christmas play and a birthday party for Jesus. During the meal, a man from the next table over who Nathan had met previously, asked if we'd be interested in joining their Oasis (small group) group for dinner. He said it would be most of the people at their table. I looked around and saw a bunch of young married couples, some with kids, some without. We said, "Definitely!" I like a church where on the first visit, you meet the pastor, people introduce themselves and truly want to say Hi and Welcome, and you're invited to a small group. And none of it was forced or uncomfortable or just because that's what you are supposed to do to new people. So we are greatly encouraged and looking forward to tonight.
