Twenty Five BELOW!

So I talked to our licensing worker, Gazelle, today and I guess it's going to be at least another month before we're officially licensed. She won't begin writing the actual home study until next week, then our supervisor has to read it and sign it, then they have to send it to Lansing. This process will have been five months (or more) when its all said and done. And that's OK. I have a couple trips to KY to make to help my parents with their house. But, of course, I am getting a bit anxious.

But for now... I have our trip to Chicago with our friends from KY to look forward to! Yay! And here's the unofficial weather update for Midland, MI: Severe Wind Chill Advisor... between now and Saturday morning we are looking at wind chills as low as
-25 degrees. Doesn't that deserve a snow day? Poor Nathan. It doesn't matter how cold it gets... there's still a newspaper to be made. No snow days for him. Brrrrrrr. (NO complaining about BG weather Dad!)

"Dad" feel free to complain about BG weather, it may not be Midland cold, but I saw a sign on my way to work this morning. 8 degrees. In Bowling Green that's cold.

btw, I'm actually commenting on a blog. Do wonders never cease.
