Moving Friends

We're moved in! Yay! We still have one more car load and two bikes to bring over, plus I need to clean the old place, but we're pretty much in now. There's no way we could have done it without Anya's dad, Mark, Mark's cousin Brad and his trailor, and Anya's mom Linda. They were such a huge blessing in helping us get the big stuff moved. We were extremely grateful for their time and hard work today. So we spent the rest of the afternoon setting things up and putting things away. It looks great! And it already feels like home. Even our cat feels at home. We definitely feel very good about this move. And we'll get some pictures up soon (as always... just don't hold your breath!)

I hope everyone had a nice Valentine's Day. We weren't going to do anything special. Honestly, we tell each other and show each other on a daily basis how much we love one another and we still get to go on regular dates. But our friends Megan and Scott that we met during the PRIDE training came up from Lansing, so we ended up going out with them for dinner at Uno's. We really had a nice time. Megan and I may not be a whole lot alike, but we have one strong thing in common and that is all of the fertility issues and the PCOS. I definitely see them becoming very good friends. We already have our next date planned for Lansing at PF Changes in a week. I think I mentioned this before, but they're actually adopting two babies in a couple months who will be born only three weeks apart. The babies are actually that of Scott's brother and Scott's sister. There's quite a story there, but it is really just an incredible blessing for a couple who was told they'd probably never being able to have a baby of their own.

The rest of this week should be pretty low key. But I'm sure something will come up worthy of a blog post. Enjoy your week and stay warm... for those of you who are still dealing with the cold breath of winter!
