Nathan's parents, Fred and Linda, and his Grandma, Susie, are in town for a visit. We always enjoy company, but especially since we haven't had any company in a very long time. Today we ventured to the town of Frankenmuth. Its kind of touristy but a cute Dutch inspired town. It was definitely worth the drive. And while we were limited in what we can due having Nathan's Grandma with us, Nathan and I definitely plan to spend more time in Frankenmuth.
The Tulip festival in Holland Michigan is next weekend, so we are also planning on head North to that as well. Spring has definitely arrived. The grass is green, the trees are budding, and the city of Midland is officially out of hibernation. So we are looking forward to the coming months of going "Up North" on the weekends and enjoying the beautiful Michigan summer time.
