Today was wonderful. Nathan and I slept in 'til 11:30. I can't say that I like sleeping in that late, but when we don't have anything to wake up for, we just don't wake up. Even the cat slept in. I mean on my face until 11:30. Nathan's worked 2-10 the past two weeks which means for the past two weeks I've only seen him for maybe an hour or so a day. So just laying in bed together all morning was really, really nice.
This afternoon we ended up driving over to the duplex, which I've done multiple times now. We decided to park the car and just go for a nice walk in our soon to be neighborhood. We are very excited about our new place and being in a neighborhood. And we discovered a neighborhood park right across the street. Its actually blocked in by a full block of houses. Everybody's back yard sits up against this park. How absolutely fantastic is that? Even just to go sit under a tree and read a book (once the weather warms up of course.) And then once we have a little one, it'll be even better!
Tomorrow we will be cheering on the Steelers at Ryan's house (Nathan's boss.) Neither of us have any Steelers clothing, but we do wish them well in the Super Bowl.
This week I have a dentist appointment, which I'm excited about now that we have dental insurance. Yay! I just wish that root canal last spring could have been happening now. Oh well. AND I have my annual exam which will also be the first time I talk to the doctor about fertility issues. I don't usually look forward to those appointments, but this one I'm kind of anxious and ready for. So we'll see what happens.
