Sorry about not posting the last post.

So... I've been trying to catch up to reality. After such a beautiful, spring time trip with family... its hard to get back into the cold, Michigan reality.

***For those of you who don't know our tornado story... here's the shorter story. We were headed back to BG from Alabama and we came upon the storm system that hit in Murfreesboro, TN. We stopped for about 15 minutes for lunch around Chattanooga. Then about 15 miles south of Murfreesboro we realized we were driving right into the massive storm system. I think there were at least ten or so separate cells hitting the area. We started watching the clouds while hearing the warnings over the radio and saw swirling clouds over head... it kind of looked like we were looking up into a drinking glass with the clouds circling around it. Dad was speeding in an attempt to find the next exit, Mom was suggesting we pull under an overpass (a big no no!) and the adrenaline was pumping. We finally came upon an exit and joined about 50 or so other people in a gas station/gun shop/restaurant where mom waited out the storm in the bathroom, Dad paced around the store, and I stood between them so I knew where everyone was. We had the rain, wind, and hail... but luckily not the tornado. Once we hit the road again, we passed Murfree. on the interstate and could see the damage the tornado had done. Moral of the story... every tornado warning must be taken seriously. With all the early warning systems these days... there's no excuse not to be safe. And it sure made for an interesting trip. And that was after we had to call 911 on a out of control trucker!***

Since I've been back, I have started a new job. Did I tell you about it? Because of our financial situation and the uncertainty of my job with Anya after Linda's laid off... I had very little choice but to take advantage of a great opportunity that was given to me. I am now nanny to three boys, ages 1, 5, 8. Yesterday, I spent the day with the boys and the dad to kind of see how the day will typically go, and today was my first solo day. It went very well. The boys are all very sweet, very smart, and very good, although we know how brothers are! Really though, I'm very excited to be working for this family. I know that God has again, come through. But I do miss Anya terribly! I'm going to visit her soon and often so she doesn't forget me.

I guess that's the most of it for now. I haven't been in much of a blogging mood recently. But all is well and as soon as I get completely caught up on things... I'll post again.

OH and HAPPY EASTER a few days late!
