Five Years of Love

This morning is a very special morning. Five years ago at 10:08 am., Nathan and I became husband and wife. Five Years. Where has the time gone? Nathan and I have both grown so much as individuals during that time, but we've also grown even more in our marriage. And while I desperately want our baby, I have truly enjoyed the time we've had to spend simply as husband and wife.

To celebrate, we'll be having dinner at a little Bistro downtown called Molly's, which we've never been to before. We are super excited to finally try it after all the rave reviews from Linda. Molly was a lounge singer in New York, so she'll be performing tonight as well. It should be lots of fun. And for dessert (Nathan already knows this...) I'm making our wedding cake. Of course not like the big wedding cake, but the top. We came up with the recipe for our pina colada flavored cake and Nathan's mom made it. So recreating should be fairly simply. I'll be sure to take pictures!

And I'd like to leave you with the benediction of our wedding on July 31, 2004:

"May you experience companionship in your lives together
So that if one falls, one may pick the other up;
So that if one is cold, one may give the other warmth;
So that if one is laughing, one may share the laughter;
So that if one is dreaming, one may share the dream.
You came as friends; you leave as friends.
You came as two, you leave as one. Amen"

Nathan. I love you. <3
