Nathan and I had an absolutely wonderful fifth anniversary! It was probably one of the best anniversary's we've celebrated so far. We're certainly looking forward to what the next five years may hold. Oh and at dinner, we ran into the Editor-In-Chief of the paper. I had not yet met him, and he was very kind. He had some very nice things to say about Nathan. He said, he realized that Nathan is definitely a keeper and he hopes he's here for a long time. Nathan is very fortunate that not only does he have a great boss, but his boss' boss is great. If his boss had a nasty boss, then that would undoubtedly trickle down to Nathan through Nathan's boss. While Michigan may not be our first choice of places to live... we are currently happy with where things are at the paper. And to hear such kind things from Nathan's boss on our anniversary, couldn't have made me more proud of my husband.

Today... we are leaving for VACATION!!! Yay!!!! As great as Nathan's job is, this break is long overdue. We are looking forward to a week in Bowling Green. My parents are on their motorcycle trip, so they should be back in BG for the last couple days of our trip. My wonderful friend Stephanie is having a baby shower tomorrow, I'll get to see my brother and our many greatly missed friends, and we hope to just relax and enjoy our time back in BG. And I think this week will give us a chance to de-stress and prepare for all that is in store with IVF.

Oh and what's a blog post without mentioning IVF. I drove down to Saginaw on Thursday to pick something up for Stephanie. I passed Dr. Shamma's building and instantly thought, "That's where my baby's going to be made." Ha ha ha. Nathan and I are starting to develop a sense of humor about things which I think is great. Now our baby will actually be made in Rochester Hills down around Detroit, but it was still the office building of the man who's going to make our baby. Nathan would say... get me pregnant... but I'm not ready to laugh at that quite yet. I'm sticking to make our baby. :)
