Unemployed

Its true. In a nut shell... if we are going to pursue the path we are on in dealing with our infertility, then it will not be with this family. And that was what the family said. I previously proposed having one regular sub to keep consistency for the boys for any day I may have an appointment. I made it clear that my medical treatment would not cost them time, money, or vacation days. But they made it clear that if IVF is the direction we are headed, I would no longer be their nanny. Yep. I guess my infertility is too much of an inconvenience, but its sure a picnic for me.

I will be able to collect unemployment until I find another position (NOT 50 hours a week)... that's why nanny's should always pay their taxes! And I'm taking this as a blessing. My trust and faith is in God and his perfect plan. I'm also looking into some certificate programs that the Michigan No Worker Left Behind program wants to pay for.

How's that for an update?!

Wow! That seems so harsh (their response to your pursuit of kids of your own). It's shocking, really.......though collecting unemployment is not so bad, temporarily.
